Spotlight (2015)

Starring Michael Keaton, Mark Ruffalo, Rachel McAdams, Liev Schreiber, John Slattery, Brian d’Arcy James, Billy Crudup and Stanley Tucci, SPOTLIGHT tells the riveting true story behind the Pulitzer Prize-winning Boston Globe investigation that would rock the city and cause a crisis in one of the world’s oldest and most trusted institutions.

When the newspaper’s tenacious “Spotlight” team of reporters delves into allegations of abuse in the Catholic Church, their year-long investigation uncovers a decades-long cover-up at the highest levels of Boston’s religious, legal, and government establishment, touching off a wave of revelations around the world.

Another sad movie, but very informative and explosive. Required much attention, but the subject matter was fascinating, requiring less effort to stay engaged with the story.

Left me feeling sad that so much injustice and wrong-doing exists in our world. I lost my faith when I discovered I was homosexual and could not make my learned spirituality jive with my lifestyle. A friend of mine taught me how to seek a god of my understanding, and ever since, I am whole. The anonymous program taught me that spirituality is personal; that I need not be a sheep to be in line with a god of my understanding.

John SlatteryI thought Mark Ruffalo’s performance stood out from the rest of the cast and I now have a new crush on John Slattery. That man is a frikkin’ hottie! I am familiar with Liev Schreiber, Stanley Tucci and Billy Crudup, but for the life of me I could not place the names, especially with the make-up on Liev.

Good movie!

Eddie Redmayne: The Danish Girl

This is Eddie Redmaye, revealed in The Danish Girl. Coincidentally, Eddie is also the name of my childhood neighborhood friend, with whom I had my first homosexual experience and the name of one of my past boyfriends. I like the name Eddie, as well as the males attached to the name that have graced my life. To this day, I have recurring dreams of my and Eddie (childhood friend), in which we are having sex. Dare to dream…

Dylan McDermott: American Horror Story

I finally got access to Netflix and imagine my delight when I discovered that I can finally watch American Horror Story.

I don’t believe in paying for television, which precluded my viewing of the show, until I discovered through my crochet/knit group I could share my parent’s Netflix account. I asked my mom about it yesterday and today I gained access!

Of course I started with Episode 1. The story seems recycled – a haunted house – but it features a shirtless and naked Dylan McDermott…ooo la la!

Allan Kayser

Allan Kayser & Yeardley SmithAllan Kayser & Yeardley Smith

Allan KayserI was watching Mama’s Family the other day and realized how hot Allan Kayser is. The images above are from the specific episode I was watching.

I am always pleasantly surprised to see older versions of celebrities when they were younger or before they were “somebody.” In this episode, the girl – yes, that is a girl with Bubba – Bonita “The Keke” Rokeke, turned out to be Yeardley Smith, the voice of Lisa Simpson.

My libido fired up, I set to finding more revealing images of Allan Kayser because ever since I met Tom in South Beach, I have had a thing for red heads. While the image quality of the picture on the right is great, it is a bit too small for my liking.

Here are a few more, though I don’t know from which productions they originated.
