Equal Representation of All Presidential Candidate’s Parties

I shall continue to disrespect this country until ALL presidential candidates are treated fairly, a la Green Party candidate being asked to leave debate property for not having correct credentials. Disrespect of Green Party and Libertarian Party presidential candidates is another why I will not stand the National Anthem or any frikkin’ politician.

Social Security Administration & Disability

Social Security AdministrationI am so sick and tired of being sick/ill and trying to work that I looked into filing for disability. Look what I discovered:

“Social Security pays disability benefits to people who can’t work because they have a medical condition that’s expected to last at least one year or result in death. Find out if you qualify and how Social Security can help you.”

Now I have another thing to be pissed off about because I know people that are collecting yearly and they are still alive!

Uber and Superior Court of California County of Los Angeles

OppressionOPPRESSION: Corporate America and our government keeping the poor man down!

Uber is always “pushing” drivers to drive more via their application’s harassing reminders:

“you are only $4 away from making $100,”

“you are only 3 minutes away from driving for an hour,”

“are you sure you want to quit driving?”

having the nerve to criticize drivers vis the application of they do not accept a call.

sending drivers without an airport permit pick up calls

leaving the driver to deal with disgruntled customers,

with complete disregard of the $1000 fine payable by the driver if they are caught on airport property without the permit,

Yet, when I have the courtesy to notify you of an accident – which was not even my fault – you have the fucking nerve to deactivate my account, preventing me from earning additional income. You will see below how you screwed me.

Here is a summary of this week:

September 11, 2016: my day off
September 12, 2016: could not drive; no gas money
September 13, 2016: could not drive; no gas money
September 14, 2016: had to work one of my other jobs; no driving
September 15, 2016: earned $111 due to receipt of paycheck for gas
September 16, 2016: account deactivated due to my reporting of an accident that was not even my fault
September 17, 2016: earned enough to cover car payment

The problem is that I have no money for gas again and when I get paid it will only be enough for the car payment. I missed a whole day due to your ass-backwards treatment of your own drivers.

Yes, I only work 4-6 hours per shift because I have multiple medical issues that prevent me from working additional hours. No, that is not your fault.

To complicate matter, I have a jury summons sitting on my desk, which does not recognize that I am technically homeless – living in a garage, trying to improve my situation, and compelling me into service. This will mean an absence from work, which you obviously do not cover, leading to insufficient income to make my car payment, thereby losing my car and possibly affecting my credit status, which I have been working so hard to improve.

I am totally disgusted by your practices – including the use of Indian idiots as partner customer support representatives. God forbid you should assist your fellow Americans with jobs!

This will mark the inception of my documentation on my personal public blog, for all the world to see, as I don’t see any way out of my spiraling situation into shopping cart homelessness status.

Thanks for nothing you sons-of-bitches!

CALIFORNIA VEHICLE CODE 21802

California State Seal

(a) The driver of any vehicle approaching a stop sign at the entrance to, or within, an intersection shall stop as required by Section 22450. The driver shall then yield the right-of-way to any vehicles which have approached from another highway, or which are approaching so closely as to constitute an immediate hazard, and shall continue to yield the right-of-way to those vehicles until he or she can proceed with reasonable safety.

(b) A driver having yielded as prescribed in subdivision (a) may proceed to enter the intersection, and the drivers of all other approaching vehicles shall yield the right-of-way to the vehicle entering or crossing the intersection.

(c) This section does not apply where stop signs are erected upon all approaches to an intersection.

According to section A, the other driver is at fault because she had a stop sign while I had right-of-way (no signal/sign). Then section B contradicts section A, indicating that I should have stopped to allow her to cross. That does not make sense to me.

This all comes up because I was involved in an accident on my way home last week.

Letter to Mayor Eric Garcetti

Government IncompetenceOpen QuoteI voted for you because I thought you were handsome, despite the fact that my phone call to your candidate office remain unreturned.

Yesterday I found out from a third party that my Medi-Cal benefits have been inactivated. Today my oncologist (a cancer doctor) has called with the same information…three times!

I am totally disgusted with you and the city of Los Angeles. I had an issue last year which required me getting in touch with Hilda Solis office to get my cal-fresh benefits reinstated. Thank god she has professionals working for her because she has never bothered, as well, to answer any of my phone calls or correspondence. I am on the phone right now with a superb, professional Nune Petrosyan (this lady deserves a raise) in Hilda’s office who is doing more for me in 19 minutes than you or Hilda have ever done for me.

Secondly, I have no water today because of an interruption in service, of which I NEVER received notice. Unfortunately, I am sick with diarrhea today and can only use the toilet one today until the water comes back on. Thankfully, I have no appetite. It really galls me that we pay for service and the providers of the service have no consideration for the public to even bother issue a service disruption notice.

Did I mention that Medi-Cal deactivated my benefits without any notice!? What the fuck? I am a diabetic that has been under the care of an endocrinologist to get my blood sugars under control so I can proceed with much needed oral surgery that I have been trying to get done for two years with the shitty insurance I have. Now without insulin, my blood sugars will go out of control again and I will have to postpone the oral surgery even further out. Let’s not even mention the fact that oral surgeons only work one day a month!

When I was a kid, I believed in government and did the right thing, as I was told. Nowadays, I detest our government: state, local and federal, finding them all self-serving and corrupt. Here is an opportunity for you to prove me wrong.

Disgustedly yours,

PS: You get extra credit for publishing your email address on your website in addition to the dumbass contact form on the website.

Hello McDonald’s!?

Now that I am working as an independent contractor for Uber, waiting for some income so I can fill up the car again to earn more money, I am organizing my tax documents, scanning receipts…and look what I found:

Please To Explain

Is this evidence of something nefarious occurring under Ronald’s nose?

I think I remember paying cash, yet the receipt does not indicate this. This is what brings about my question.

Then I start trying to remember the situation. What I think I remember is someone spotting me, making direct beeline to take my order in, what I remember now as a flirtatious manner. Could she have comped me? Did I pay?

Either way, the receipt is useless to me for tax purposes.

Can I expect a remedy?

I have digital documentation of the receipt, as well as the original receipt.

PS: I am still blogging about it!

I finally found a way to contact McDonald’s on their website. Now we will just wait.

UberLeo

UberI just realized it’s been a while since I have posted anything. Much has been happening.

I saw an add on Facebook, where a leasing company will help one get a car for $250 down and then you pay it off by driving for Uber. I can’t believe I passed two background checks and got a car.

I was totally nervous the first week, worried that I would not make enough money each week to cover the car payment. As it turns out, I do make enough. Yay!

Blood Glucose LevelsGOOD NEWS!

After two weeks, my blood sugars are now where they need to be to get my teeth the attention they so desperately need…AND…the endocrinologist is faxing proof to the oral surgeon today, so I may have my teeth done sooner than I expected.

Woohoo!

I am currently testing in the Excellent range.

ROAD TRIP: Los Angeles, CA > Edinburg, TX & Back

Gas: $322.93 / Miles: 3,600 (?)

April 29, 2016

Crossing state line one. We were going to try and take a picture each time, we crossed a state line, but we got lazy.

Learned from Cathy that Denise was living in Tucson, which we would be passing through. Why not stop by and say, “Hi!” So, we did! Turns out this would be a good move, as we were invited to stay overnight on the way back, should a need arise, and to attend an impromptu slumber party with another mutual friend that was visiting – Carina.

Next Stop: Dwayne’s; Bowie (boo-wee, thought I like bo-wee better), Arizona. You can see they have gas. What you can’t see are the pecan/pistachio groves which are either out of camera range or on the opposite side of I-10. Also out of camera range, the one street town and the supermarket that is 25 miles south. Met the mayor’s daughter, who says crime is rampant in the residential area, and knowing your suspects on a personal level due to small population just adds insult to injury.

I had to get that beard under control so right after I arrived in Edinburg – approximately 18:00 – I went in search of a hair cut…

…and then off to the party! OMG! The humidity was hostile. I thought after all my years in Florida, I might be granted some reprieve…not so much!

When in Texas, one must partake of the Whataburger #581, so we stopped in Alice, Texas for a bite. The drive home was going to be less stressed, as we did not have a deadline, and because having made the trip already, we would not be prone to get lost so much on the trip back…so far, so good!

Realizing I had clients along our travel route, I tried to visit some of them. This is a mural inside the Hilton Palacio del Rio Riverwalk; San Antonio, Texas. Just missed my contact, as I had arrived at lunch time.

Arizona
Entering Arizona II

After driving about 13 hours, I was ready to take a break and Taco Tuesday in Tucson sounded delish. I stopped in Benson and bought a strawberry chocolate Boston cream pie. Everything was going fine, sitting relaxing, knitting, reacquainting until it stopped going fine. As I was the driver on this trip, I stayed up as late as I could – about 10:00 p.m. – but finally had to get some sleep for the drive home the next day. I was so angry as I lay there while the girls drank wine and chatted that when they finally went to bed – about 01:45 – I looked up bus trips home because I knew I would have a hard time staying awake on the road. Sure enough, but alive to blog about trip.

Got a speeding ticket in Indio…DAMMIT! These are the pictures that were going to make up my defense when I fought this in court. Oy vey!

The silver lining was the chance to visit the Cabazon Dinosaurs.
