Another Glad Surprise
I had completely forgotten that I had one Gladiolus that was neither a Spic and Span, nor a Peter Pear and like clockwork, it was one of the later, and biggest, plants to bloom this year. I just love the … Continue reading
King Acres: May Flowers
I can’t wait till I have a regular job and a steady income to finally do my flower beds right. I am so tired of these damn weeds. As such, I have not been much of an avid gardener this … Continue reading
Mad About Hippeastrum
While I did not get to see mom’s Weldon Iris bloom, I did arrive home in time to see this spectacular display. I was so eager to see mom’s Iris, which I suspected to be a bearded variety and purple … Continue reading

Hippeastrum Late Bloomer
This Hippeastrum must be blooming on God’s time, just like my blossoming hope at the fact that I have an interview Monday as a result of joining the temporary agency. The assignment is a temporary two-three month assignment. Procedures must … Continue reading
Now That’s A Zinnia!
This is what I always thought a Zinnia looked like: full, not daisy-like, like the previous blooms in King Acres, thought it is still on the small side. I included this one because I love the coloring on it.
