Today, I arrived at the Beverly Hills Cancer Center at 6:51 a.m. I know that the medical transportation driver is only required to wait twenty minutes, so at 7:09 a.m. I informed the radiation technicians that I had shown up, but had to leave, as I was not about to wait 1.5 hours – from previous experience, 2-2.5 hours – for another ride home.
On March 15, 2015, I scheduled my radiation treatment later – 8:30 a.m. – so I could see my doctor and find out when I will be done with radiation; find out if a PET Scan was still necessary; and if a PET scan would suffice versus a colonoscopy – in my opinion yes. At 9:30 a.m. I had to leave without being seen by Dr. Arash Gabayan because I had to get to the oral surgeon appointment with Dr. Gabriel Gabbaypour.
Good thing I left when I did; I arrived in time for my appointment despite getting lost on the way.
