REVIEW
Entertaining, though I really had a problem with the whole premise: Jackie Chan is waiting for centuries for someone “The Seeker?” to return the staff to the Monkey King. This kid is only given the staff in a last-minute attempt to save it from taken by robbers, making him “The Seeker?” That made no sense to me at all. Another thing that bothered me was the secret of the Monk, who’s creation is never even addressed.
Loved the characters and the choreography. Michael (Jason Tripitikas) was an interesting choice. Once he began his kung fu training, he started to look pretty good, but I still could not get past the face.
