REVIEW
One of my favorites because I know most of the songs: Wouldn’t It Be Loverly, With A Little Bit Of Luck, The Rain In Spain, I Could Have Danced All Night, On The Street Where You Live, Get Me To The Church On Time and I’ve Grown Accustomed To Her Face. I also love the cinematography and richness of color.

I was finding Freddy Eynsford-Hill (Jeremy Brett) might attractive and think Eliza might have done well to chose him over Professor Higgins. I am a big fan of Audrey and absolutely loved her in that white dress with the red cape. I also think she played the squawking Eliza brilliantly; so much so that I found her voice grating.

I was surprised to learn so many awards were garnered from the Oscar Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, but think they were all deserving. I wonder who won best actress over Audrey? Ah! No wonder; it was Julie Andrews in Mary Poppins, another of my absolute all-time favorites. Ironically, I was looking for Mary Poppins at the library, but could not find it.
