The day I returned from the bank, discovering I only had enough savings for one more month of expenses, I was very depressed, which of course leads to indignation, so I had to follow-up with Grand Lux Cafe to find out what had been the outcome of the Mother’s Day Incident.

I got the feeling that my case had been completely forgotten and I was a little surprised that I was asked “what did I hope to get out of reporting my incident.” I relayed my prior experience with P.F. Chang’s, where I criticized the contradiction to their “family style” serving method and I had received a $40 gift card. In the end the Grand Lux Cafe, stepped up to the plate and hit a homer: they sent me a gift card for $250.00! I had lost approximately $200 dollars from my returned wallet, but of course had no way of proving it. I am glad for a most pleasant outcome from this, as my family and I are avid fans of all three restaurants: The Cheesecake Factory, Grand Lux Cafe and Rock Sugar.
