OMG! I looked over at Mojo this morning, as he woke on my bed and I thought he was stretching. I finished my farming and then went to get some Mojee love, only to discover the blanket was wet, as well as he and he had thrown up. I realized that he had had another episode — call it denial, but I am trying to refrain from using the word seizure. When I put him on the ground he could not stand up on his own.

I called the vet and made a 09:00 appointment — the first one for the day. By the time we got there, Mojo was already returning to normal. His neurological exam was normal, as was his temperature. I desired a full blood panel to insure against disease, despite the fact that he is current on his vaccinations, and the past due fecal exam.

They wanted $542.00! Being unemployed, practicality set in. Seizures – as the vet put it – would be indicative of epilepsy, which would not show up in a blood panel. I decided to have the past due fecal exam done and will monitor him. The doctor says if it is epilepsy his seizures will occur more frequently, so if we can get to October without any incident, I will feel a whole lot bettah!
