I missed the email from the only other member, stating that she would not be able to attend the stitch ‘n’ bitch, so I showed up, sat for an hour and left.
Today, I stopped by the 
Playa Vista Library to see about using the community room for a stitch ‘n’ bitch. They charge! With no funds, much less a job, that is not an option. However, the reference desk called a librarian who used to organize a knitting group which is now defunct due to nonparticipation. I told her that once I know whether, or not, I will be working evenings, we can try to restart a group, so stay tuned.
