Crocosmia

CrocosmiaDerived from the Greek words krokos, meaning “saffron”, and osme, meaning “odor.” Mine have begun to bloom.

Most of my Chrysanthemums blooms are now brown. I am going to deadhead them today after dad finishes doing the lawn, my interview, a possible lunch date with Naughty Claudia – or I may wait till tomorrow.

I think a visit to Website Armstrong Garden Center is in order regarding my Leucanthemums; they have not grown at all since March, when I planted them. They may require some fertilizer. My Consolida, also planted in March, have never even sprouted.
