DISENCHANTED

I love “fairy” tales! One of the main reasons I wanted to see this movie was for the song Oh Yeah by Outkast. I could have sworn I heard that song in the commercials advertising this movie. Well, imagine my disappointment when I did not hear it in the movie.

I swear I did not fall asleep; I was to entertained with the whimsy and comedy. This was a very cute movie with likable characters. My only other problem was the premise for removing the “gift”. That little black fairy really got on my last nerve!

Prince Charmont ( Hugh Dancy) was not bad-looking, very average, which was surprising and refreshing. Areida looked very familiar, though I can’t remember where I’ve seen her before. I think she is the girl from Bend It Like Beckham?

The music soundtrack for this movie started out great, but ended on a poor note.
